Jalsa group, started more than 7 years ago with a vision of its founder Alpesh Shah. As a Gujarati himself, he had accepted the balance for the audience's preference for entertainment between main stream bollywood cinema and gujarati cultural programs, dramas, etc.. But as a lover of gujarati litrature and cultre, the growing shift of trend from Culture & Drama towards main stream bollywood entertainment & west kept bothering him. He found that the core reason of this decline was a vicious cycle - lesser dramas were made because of lesser viewership & the reason of lesser viewership was lesser options to view. This led him to his goal - to bridge the gap between the audience and industry promoting the Gujarati culture, litrature, philosophy and a huge industry behind it.

With the support of more than 7000 Members, Jalsa Group has been successfull in organising 90-100 events. And is now geared up to expand the stage to whole of Mumbai expecting a strong support of about 20,000 members. The memberships are now open for the year 2019 and major 8 theatres across Mumbai are already on the list. Jalsa group has also tied up with major production houses, artists and event organizers in Mumbai & Gujarat to bring the best of art and entertainment to its members.

In addition to this, Jalsa Group has set up a complete transparent online system which caters to memberships, online payment of fees, information of shows, seat booking and much more.
